Invisible Scars

I am a treasure

created by God
He knew me long before
I came into this world.
He had a special plan
for my life
Yet allowed me to make
choices.
Somewhere along my path
I got lost.
And in my desperation
I faltered
I fell.
Yet God in His compassion
loved me
when no one else
could.
It was there
at the foot of
the Cross
that I met the
greatest love
I will ever know.
You see, God created
me
with a very special
plan.
And even though my
own choices
have left me
scarred
He sees.
God sees my
invisible scars.
He calls to
me,
He beckons my
soul
to lay at His feet
forgiven,
loved,
accepted,
healed.
